Let's look on the bright side, At least we will definitely have a Tuesday show at Smokey Bones!
Seriously, let me take a minute to applaud our hero’s. What a run! They did the unthinkable and almost shocked the world by taking home the NBA Championship but, it wasn’t to be, at least not this year.
I’m not going to make this a Magic Blog because there are plenty already, but maybe the most impressive feat by the Magic this year is their ability to bring everyone in this town together.
Let’s face it, we are a transient town. Most are from somewhere else and frankly, this ain’t Mayberry. It’s that fact that makes their allure even that much more amazing. Honestly, I can think of two things that make this town stand up and pay attention to the others that own the other cookie cutter quarter acre lots in the neighborhood.
1) Hurricanes
2) The Orlando Magic
That’s it! The hopes of an NBA Championship and anyone who has information on where people can get ice.
How many of you remember the 1995 finals? The rally-ability of the residents of Mosquitoville was unbelievable. It wasn’t until the “Trifecta” came rolling into town a couple years back that we saw what Orlandoians are made of.
Now don’t get me wrong, It’s not like I’m out donating my time building houses for the homeless or volunteering at the soup kitchen myself, I simply refuse to let this unique phenomenon come and go without mentioning it. It is truly remarkable. H
ere’s to the Magic and their incredible run, their impact on the people of Orlando, and their economical impact as well. Please, come back soon and make another Finals run! God knows we need you!
Volcano’s was another smashing success this past Friday. We had a great time and there is talk of more “frequent” engagements. That is thanks to all of you! Let’s keep it up!

Now it’s time for our BTS Team of the Week. This week we honor the our new teams at our newest venue Volcano’s Coffee Bar and Roastery in Downtown Orlando. Although this was only our second show at Volcano’s, I have been impressed with the level of competition that I’ve seen. It’s a great atmosphere and the stakes are high. I could not be happier with the turnout although there is always room for more! This week’s winner managed to not only come back for our second appearance at Volcano’s, they also managed to bring 3 new teams along with them! That is BTS T.OT.W Worthy with some stank on it!
