Hello Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show.
Well, after reading a few of your suggestions, I have come up with a new picture trivia feature to our already successful trivia extravaganza! Presenting.....
Guess who's got Mexican Swine Flu!!
I kid I kid.....
Here's what we're actually going to do....Presenting....THE BIG TRIVIA PICTURE QUIZ
It will occur during our Two Round Game and will be an addition, not a substitute for the normal 20 question game.
Here’s how it will work....
I will hand out a sheet containing ten images with a place for you to write out the answers.
Each answer will be worth 1 point and will be added to your final score at the end of the game.
The picture sheets will be handed out during the second round of the Two Round Game along with a normal 10 question answer sheet so each team may want to designate one player to work on that portion of the game while the others handle the live questions……just a thought.
Now, because I have added the chance to gain 10 additional points to the game, I have decided to have the Five Word Phraze that Payz, as well as, any other additional points count for the Three Round Game only!
I’m really looking forward to debuting this new feature at Smokey Bones on Tuesday. I think it will be a great deal of fun!
Now its time for our BTS Team of the Week. This week’s winner comes to us from the very competitive Smokey Bones Bar and Fire Grill show. They are the only group of medical professionals that I have at any of my shows so nothing doctorish gets by them! The more complicated it is for me to pronounce, the easier it is for them to get. They a hip bunch of Scrubs and are well deserving of this week’s award.

Belly Flopped
Hello Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show.
Let me start off this week’s entry by addressing the 800 pound elephant in the room, that is, trying to answer the “what happened to Bellybusters” question everyone has been asking since Thursday night. Truth is, I don’t exactly know.
Anyone who went to the first show could tell you there were some things that we needed to work out before the next show. From the service (or lack thereof) to the “volume” issue that was apparently too much for the folks at Bellybusters to overcome.
We discovered this was their major concern after they finally called us back on Thursday. You see, we had been trying to talk with them about our concerns since Monday but I guess Thursday was the only day they could return our call and emails.
In finally doing so, they informed Earth Trivia our services would no longer be welcome. So, in a nutshell, there will be no more trivia at Belly Busters and once again we are wide open on Monday and Friday nights until something comes along. All I can say is, we are better off without them and Curtis Earth and myself are working on finding a new Earth Trivia Venue. Stay tuned.
By the way, I’m still taking suggestions on a new picture related addition to the show. Please send all ideas to steadman@earthtrivia.com.
Now its time for our BTS Team of the Week. This week's winners come from Gators Dockside where the game is big and the teams are even bigger! It is rare to see a team of loyal Biggies that is less than 5 players. This week's winner is no exception, in fact, they had 15 players!! I also must admit, their team name cracks me up and they always bring me a box of pens!! That has to count for something right?

Spring Break Baby!
Hello Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show.
First, i would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter! I hope you got all the chocolate bunnies you were hoping for and more! By the way, how was your Spring Break? Did you hit the beaches or just lay low and catch up on some much needed sleep?
Wait…what was that? Not all of you got a Spring Break? Well, technically, neither did I. But that is not stopping me from taking one.
This week is my daughter’s Spring Break and I’m using it as my excuse to take one.
You may be thinking.........won’t she will want to hit the mall, the beach, and hang with her friends? Ya know, everything that won’t involve having her dad around all the time??
Well, that won’t be a problem.
You see, She is 5 and therefore can’t drive or do anything without my say so.
Advantage…….DADDY!!
So during every day of this week, she (we) will be completely booked so hold your calls! Check out this schedule of fun….

Wednesday- The Hannah Montana Movie
Thursday-Maybe Dr. Seuss Land. The details are still being worked out.

I will say that it is tough to keep up with an energetic, sometimes rambunctious 5 year old, but don’t worry, I can assure you I will maintain the quality and professionalism you have come to expect from the Big Trivia Show although I must admit, I will be bushed!!
It’ll be a great week and I’m looking forward to it!! Ok, maybe not the Hannah Montana part but a promise is a promise. Gotta love that Billy Ray Cyrus!
I want to take a minute and thank the folks at Belly Busters for a great debut this past Friday! I especially want to thank my loyal teams who came out for the first show. I can assure you, it can only get better from here.
If you missed it, no worries as I plan on extending our Belly Busters Bonus for at least another week!
I call it…...Friday Tri-day.
That means, if you have at least 3 people on your team, you will get a point per additional person you bring. Example, if you have 6 total members, you will receive 3 extra points.

Hello Goodbye
Hello Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show.
Sometimes, you just never know what this business will throw at you. Last week, my entry was about being dumped and loved all in the same day. This week, it’s about having to make a tough decision that I ultimately feel will be better for all of us.
Here’s what I mean.
The original plan was to add our newest venue Belly Busters as our new Monday show to replace the departed Liam Fitzpatrick’s. Well, the best laid plans…
Turns out, the folks at Belly Busters have big plans for US and having the show on Friday nights is an intregal part of this plan. Unfortunately, something had to give and Copper Rocket was that something.
I’ve had a great time at the Rocket, made some great friends, but sometimes better opportunity comes along and you have to jump on it.
Don’t despair Rocket fans, I may be leaving but Earth Trivia is staying! There will be a new host taking over effective April 10th and the BTS will make its Belly Busters Debut the very same night at 7:30pm. Comedian Tommy Davidson will own the main room that night, and we will own the bar!! It will be fun and I can’t wait! Hope to see YOU there!
Now its time for our BTS Team of the Week. This week, we honor one of our Hall of Fame squads for doing a couple of things Hall of Fame teams do…..Win and have a team of 14 with 5 new people! They are the Kings (and Queens) of bringing new blood to the show as they have exposed at least 20 people to the BTS over the past 9 months. This must not go unnoticed! I am hoping they decide to come to Belly Busters and bring the whole team!
Congrats to our BTS Team of the Week….The Catalina Wine Mixers
They will earn 3 extra points on their next quiz at Gators AND Belly Busters (if they can make it)
As a matter of fact, new rule for this week (and only this week’s) big debut at Belly Busters!
Any team that has at least 3 members will be awarded a point per additional person!! So come on out and bring everyone!!

Ok...Here's the News........
Hello Biggies!
Just finished up my meeting with Belly Busters. Thanks to Richie, Joe, Candy and the crew. They are excited as am I and I can't wait to get started!
Speaking of getting started, it was decided that the show will be on...........
FRIDAY NIGHTS (Beginning April 10th) STARTING AT 7:30PM !!
It will be an exciting 3 round game for prizes such as Comedy Show Tickets, Bar tabs, and so much more!!
I am excitied and I hope you are too!
Please mark your calandars and plan on coming for the maiden voyage.
Belly Busters is at 1870 State Road 436 in Winter Park between Howell Branch and Aloma (next to Holler Chevorlet). I hope to see some of my Smokey Bones and Coasters folks as well as my Copper Rocket teams as well!
It'll be a blast and I can't wait!!
