Belly Flopped

Hello Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show.

Let me start off this week’s entry by addressing the 800 pound elephant in the room, that is, trying to answer the “what happened to Bellybusters” question everyone has been asking since Thursday night. Truth is, I don’t exactly know.

Anyone who went to the first show could tell you there were some things that we needed to work out before the next show. From the service (or lack thereof) to the “volume” issue that was apparently too much for the folks at Bellybusters to overcome.

We discovered this was their major concern after they finally called us back on Thursday. You see, we had been trying to talk with them about our concerns since Monday but I guess Thursday was the only day they could return our call and emails.

In finally doing so, they informed Earth Trivia our services would no longer be welcome. So, in a nutshell, there will be no more trivia at Belly Busters and once again we are wide open on Monday and Friday nights until something comes along. All I can say is, we are better off without them and Curtis Earth and myself are working on finding a new Earth Trivia Venue. Stay tuned.

By the way, I’m still taking suggestions on a new picture related addition to the show. Please send all ideas to steadman@earthtrivia.com.

Now its time for our BTS Team of the Week. This week's winners come from Gators Dockside where the game is big and the teams are even bigger! It is rare to see a team of loyal Biggies that is less than 5 players. This week's winner is no exception, in fact, they had 15 players!! I also must admit, their team name cracks me up and they always bring me a box of pens!! That has to count for something right?
