You know its Fall when......

Hello New Biggies and Loyal Players of the Big Trivia Show!

So, we start off this week's entry with a question...When do you know its Fall?

Obviously, the calandar gives us a pretty clear indication even if the weather may not always, but for me, Fall has come when.......

The World Series gets underway
The NFL starts to get interesting
The NBA preseason has begun
Halloween costumes and party plans are made
The temperature dips below 70 at night
Fall Festivals are in full swing
Even the mention of Thanksgiving is a pretty good indicator
Most of all.....I bought my first Christmas present for a family member this weekend.

That, for me, is when not only Fall is here, but Winter is knocking on the door as well. Now, I will NOT be putting my Christmas decorations up just yet, but I know the 90 degree days are gone (until at least March...please??), and the really fun time of year is upon us. Food, Gifts, Parties, Fall Festivals, you name it, its here! I don't know about you, but I love this time of year the most!

Alright, I am done over-sharing with you. Let's get to the good stuff!!!

I really admire those of you who not only show up week after week, but spread the good word of the Big Trivia Show to your friends and aquaintances. That is cool for many reasons. Not only do more people come and have fun, but then they tell people and the competition gets even better!

Holy Rich Devos!! It sounds like a Pyramid Scheme huh?

Well, if there was ever a scheme whose sole purpose was to get folks together, play a free game, win free prizes, and hang out with other like minded people who also love to compete and test their knowledge, then yes...its a pyramid scheme. I'm guilty as charged!!

Week after week, they not only come and compete, but they bring a new face, who in turn, also brings a new face. We have many teams like this and none is greater than the other (don't want to cause B.T.S.TO.T.W envy), however, the teams that usually do this nice deed usually win a prize every week. That is what makes the Elves even that much cooler. They don't always win, but they always come to Gator's, and they always bring a newbie.
