Hello BIGGIES!!!!
Sorry I'm late on the blog. Its been a busy (but awesome) weekend!! Thanks to Turning Pointe Dance studio www.turningpointedance.com for allowing me to host a round of trivia for charity! The charity raised money to "A Hope For Haiti Children's Orphanage" and was a smashing success. For those of you with children, please consider Turning Pointe's Summer Fitness Fun Camp! You'll be glad you did.
Please click on their website and check them out. There are not better people in this world than Turning Pointe. How do I know? My daughter is a dance student there and it has already made a world of difference in her life and will continue to! Thanks Turning Pointe! Much Love!!
As foir this week's exciting shows, here are the highlights.
Congrats to "Gram Ram and Kris" for another dominant performance on Wednesday at Smokey Bones!!
Not only we're you guys awesome, but you brought a new Biggie to the show and therefore earned an extra point on the quiz!
Great Job!!
A terrific night of trivia at Bennigan's saw "I Peed in ur Pool" run away with the competition! 81 points in a three round game is an impressive feat indeed!! They also brought a new Biggie but much like Gram Ram, they really did not need any extra points as they were dominant without it.
Now, I would like to welcome FIVE NEW MEMBERS to our little newsletter!! The secret is getting out that this is the way to earn extra points on your quiz. The blog is ok, but the benefits are killer :)
When you win a round or a game by one or two points, you will be happy you signed up!
I am looking for your feedback on the current format of the BIG Trivia Show so please take the poll.
Still in need of teams to compete on my radio show Game Show Radio on 1190 WAMT. It would be for the Titans of Trivia on Thursdays where you can win a $50 Tab at your trivia place of choice!!!
Leave a comment if you are interested and I will schedule you a time.
Ok Biggies, here is this week's Phraze That Payz...ready???
HOPE FOR HAITI
Simply write the Phraze at the top of your answer sheet where it say Phraze That Payz and receive 2 extra points on your overall score!! The points are awarded after the second round. Don't forget!!
Also, remember you will receive 1 extra point for every new person you bring to the BIG Trivia Show so let me know if you have a new Biggie and I will hook it up!
I will see you guys at Smokey Bones on Wednesday night at 7pm and Bennigans UCF Thursday night at 9pm.
Thankls for your continued support of the BIG Trivia Show and make sure you participate on Game Show Radio every weekday morning from 9-10A. It would be much appreciated!
Until next week Biggies......GOOD TIMES!

Pre-School Graduations and Teams Needed!
Hello Biggies!
Another great week in Big Trivia Land as we say congrats to this week's winners!! At Smokey Bones on Wednesday, it was Gram-Ram leading the way as they continue their dominance over all who dare play them!! Hope to see more of you at that show. When you come, try the Skillet Cornbread. Its my personal favorite! Way to Go Gram Ram!
As for Bennigans, what another awesome performance by all of you. It was tough to only have one Grand Prize winner but it has to be done! This week, it was the Kleptomaniacs taking home the Big Prize in a hard fought contest. Plus, they got one extra point for bringing a new Biggie and two extras for using the Phraze That Payz. That was enough to secure their spot at the top. However, we'll see if they can do it this week!
Still in need of some music suggestions for the show. Got a new I-Tunes card and I'm itching to use that puppy. Let the suggestions fly! It can be just about anything as you've heard by some of my musical choices. Feel free to cheese it up!
This week, the littlest Steadman, my daughter Elaina, graduated from Pre-School and is now one step closer to Harvard Law! If you saw the way she writes her K's and W's, you would agree with me! She's daddy's little girl and is the one who picks the contents for the Bud Prize Packs so as you can see, its a family effort!
Ok Biggies, here's this week's Phraze That Payz.........Preschool Graduation! Simply write it at the top of your answer sheet and receive two extra points on your overall score. These points will be awarded at the end of the second round. Remember to bring a new Biggie and receive a point per new person you bring that night! can't wait to meet the newbies!
Speaking of which, the Blog Email List is getting bigger by the week so more players are taking advantage of the extra point possibilities. Its my version of player rewards points however, these cannot be redeemed for trips to the Cayman's or anything......I checked with Delta.
Still looking for teams to compete in the TITANS OF TRIVIA on Game Show Radio every Thursday. If you and two of your teammates feel you've got what it takes, compete and win a $50 Tab at the place you play The BIG Trivia Show! Just email me at steadman@gameshowradio.net and we'll get you a spot!
I'll see you at the shows Biggies!!

Need new music and YOUR input!!
Hello Biggies!!
First, I would like to wish all of you a happy and safe Memorial Day!! I plan on spending time with family, sitting on the couch, and drinking beer. Sound like a plan??
Anyway, I can't thank you guys enough for your continued support of The BIG Trivia Show!! It was another awesome week at Smokey Bones and especially Bennigans! Man, we are wellon our way to standing room only if we keep this up!! Great Job Biggies!!
Here are our winners from this past week:
At Smokey Bones in Game 1, it was Team Mamas taking home 1st place and a $25 gift cert!! They are loyal biggies and I know they'll be back next week...right Mamas????
In Game 2, Gram Ram once again reigned supreme over the competition, winning a $25 gift cert and a round of Bud's as well!! Great Job Gram Ram!! Sorry the server was clueless! Oh well, it worked out.
I think we are in need of a Gram Ram vs. Team Mamas Showdown next week!! I am hopeful both teams will bring some friends along as well. Remember, 1 extra point per new person is awarded at the end of your quiz. Take advantage!
Now, as for Bennigans!! What a show!
It was Peanut Butter Jelly Time who took home a $25 gift cert for their impressive first place finish. The competition was fierce as we had 15 teams competing!! That's alot of papers to grade! I felt like my teacher wife!!
On a side note, congrats to I Peed in Your Pool for bringing FIVE NEW MEMBERS!! They we're awarded 5 extra points for their efforts. now I hope that new team brings 5 newbies of their own... We'll see!
I'd like to welcome the newest members of the Big Trivia Newsletter/Blog to the fold!! You will be rewarded with chances to gain extra points on your quiz! There's the Phraze That Payz as well as the Bring a New Biggie Program (working title) in which 1 point per new person brought will be awarded for that week. No limits on how many you can bring! Just make sure you show them to me to verify it.
SO, here is The Phraze That Payz for this week.......SERPENTINE BELT! This wil be worth an extra 2 points on your quiz !! Why this phraze? because thats the belt I blew out on my car Tuesday. Good Times! Thanks to Jeremy and the folks at Courtesy Toyota for fixing it! You guys are the best! We'll see ya Thursday Night as they are Loyal Biggies as well!
In closing, I would love your input on some new songs to add to the show. I ask for your comments and suggestions. As a way of saying thanks, I will add the 15 songs I feel best fit the show! Remember, we're a family show so we gotta keep it "kinda" clean but it doesn't have to be squeaky clean so go nuts! Can't wait for your suggestions!!
Until next week, have an awesome Memorial Day!!

Gotta Passport/Stupid Magic!!
Hello BIGGIES!!
Sorry i haven't kept up with my blogging. Between trivia, managing Curtis' affairs, raising a family, and doing Game Show Radio there just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes. Time to quit my crying and focus on the task at hand....
STUPID MAGIC!!!!!!!! No, wait.....The BIG Trivia Show!!! Now there is something one can get behind! Things are just clicking right along.
The BT show at Smokey Bones on W. Coloniel and Hiawasee continues to grow and grow. Thanks to all who attended and congrats to our winners Team Mama and Gram Ram!! Both teams are loyal Big Trivia Show attendees and it is much appreciated. We'll see you all next week!
Bennigans on University every Thursday night never ceases to amaze me! Just when I think we have a steady following, more teams play and began to make it a regular Thursday night thing! I know teams like "Not Very Good", and "I Peed in your Pool" have been dedicated weeky players and now we have added "Turkey O'Toole's", 2 Homs and a Quom, and "Team UNO" into the regulars mix as well! Keep it up until that place is standing room only!! Good job Biggies!! Congrats to "Not Very Good" and I Peed in your Pool" for taking home 1st and 2nd place this week!!
Now, as a reward for your continued loyalty, this is what I propose...
If you are a returning team, and you bring someone new to the show, let me know they are new and I will add ONE POINT TO YOUR QUIZ FOR EVERY NEW PERSON YOU BRING!!!
You bring one newbie, ONE POINT, Five Newbies, FIVE POINTS, and so on...
This will be a weekly thing going forward...Newbies will soon become BIGGIES!!
More BIG news, I'M A BIG KID NOW....(trivially speaking). Let me explain....
When I started with Earth Trivia in January, I was given an old beat up starter sound system which rivaled the size of one of those old radios from the fifties until I made it on my own. Well,
I have made it baby!! I recently purchased a brand new state of the art Fender Passport Deluxe PA Syatem and its time to let the good times roll!!
This thing in total is the size of one of my old speakers!! Oh what a feeling!!
In honor of my great purchase (thank you government rebate check!!), The Phraze That Payz is FENDER PASSPORT
Write Fender on your answer sheet and receive an additional 2 points on your overall score!!
lastly, as for the Magic...they played well but just not well enough obviously. Good news is, this team will be good for a few years to come! It was fun magic...we'll see ya next year. Now, ya think I could get JJ Redick or Dwight Howard to play my show? They have spare time.
Until next week!

What's up BIGGIES??
Well, it only took 12 years but the Orlando Magic finally made it past the First Round of the Playoffs after ousting the less talented but stubborn Toronto Raptors in five games. Let's see how far these guys can go. I have a feeling, they aren't a one and done team....Hope I'm right!!
Well, the BIG Trivia Show continues on this week with stops at Bennigans on Thursday Night, Smokey Bones on Wednesday, and a fill-in role for the one and only Rick "Pub Quiz" Peterson tonight at Timmy Mack's....home of the $1000+ Mega Match. More details about that on Rick's page.
The BIG Basket O' Fun will be along for the ride. What will folks pull out of it this week? Well, whatever Fred's has in stock...that's what!!
Curtis and myself are planning a two night Trivia Cruise for the summer. Hope to see you all there. Prices will be inexpensive and the fun will not stop!! Learn more at Curtis' Blog as details develop.
Ok BIGGIES, here's your Phraze That Payz........From the Peter Gabriel song Big Time "I'm on my way I'm making it"

Oh Boy...........Bennigans!!
Hello BIGGIES!!!!!!!
It was another fun and exciting week for the BIG Trivia Show!! Team Not Very Good once again reigned supreme at Bennigans with their impressive win on Thursday!
Meanwhile, at Smokey Bones Wednesday night, it was Gorillas in the Mist who took home the big prize .
BTW, make a point of attending the Smokey Bones Show. They have been gracious enough to give $50 gift card for first place in both shows!!!!!!! That's BIG my friends.
Both Bennigans and Smokey Bones are huge supporters of the BTS and we love them for it!
On another note, my loyal and reliable form of transportation (2002 Toyota Camry) drove its 100,000th mile on Wednesday.
The milestone took place at the corner of 434 and Wekieva Springs Rd in Longwood. She's still purring along after her owner (some trivia geek) replaced her fluids, brakes, and oil!!
Here's to another 100k baby car!!! You've done well! All Hail Japan and their superior automotive prowess!!! (although the car was built in Kentucky but I quickly digress.....)
Here is your PHRAZE THAT PAYZ for this week!!
The South Park Character above loves him some Bennigans!! If you write the phrase listed below the picture on your answer sheet at the next trivia show (Monday at Bennigans UCF), then you will get an extra point added to your overall score!!
Well, that will do it for this week! Thanks so much for the positive comments on the music. It will constantly be updated as to keep it fresh!!
Keep taking the poll questions provided and leave your comments below so I know you were here. And keep listening to Game Show Radio every weekday morning from 9a-10a on 1190 WAMT.
Remember, 15 correct answers in a row will net you $100!!!!!
