Business is about to pick up round here

Hello Biggies,

First, I want to thank each and every darn one of you who came to the inagural show at Paddy Murphy's in Baldwin Park. At the risk of jinxing myself, I have a really good feeling about that venue! I think I may have found a nice long-term home. I will say, it helps that they are not a franchise and therefore have vision......what? too harsh?

Anyway, congrats to our first Paddy Murphy winners LITTLE BIT & THE OTHERS! They are Big Trivia converts as they have played Curtis' show numerous times and been succesful! Welcome aboard Little Bit and the Others. May your run as a Biggie be as long as your run as an Earthling (or whatever he calls his teams:)

Thanks also to Paddy Cakes, Mac Babes, Second Hand Smoke and Tispsy McStagger and his Boozebag Jamboree for making our first night special! Here's to the future!!

This week will be even better with the addition of Coasters Sports Pub located inside Boardwalk Bowl! This show has a chance to be huge as well! What a great venue this is. It screams trivia!! You will see what I mean when you join me for the show this Thursday at 9pm!!! Come one....screw it...COME ALL!!! Let's show the owners that they made the wise choice as they will now be the Thursday home of the Big Trivia Show. As for our former Thursday home.....eh....nah. They will find out soon enough on what they missed. I am counting on you guys to bring the funk so I hope to see you all this Thursday! Here is the address in case you're not sure where it is.

Next monday (July 7th) will mark the debut of the Big Trivia Happy Hour Show at Copper Rocket. That will be a daily show from 5:30-7p. Please spread the word!

Before I give you the Phraze that Payz, let me tell you what happened to me this weekend! I had my house sprayed for bugs and my bug guy noticed something peculiar in the back yard. It was brown, oddly shaped, and full of berries....Give up????

IT WAS BEAR POOP!!!!! That's right, an actual Bear said hello to me and left his mark by dropping a berry filled duece right by my daughter's swing set. Living in Apopka does have its occurences and this is by far a first for me!!

Yes, minor setbacks were suffered by Bennigans and Smokey Bones but where one (or two) doors closes.......

THREE DOORS OPEN!!!!!!

That's right! The BIG Trivia Show will have three new venues to choose from starting TONIGHT!!

I am pleased and honored to announce Paddy Murphy's in Baldwin Park will be the new Tuesday night home of the BIG Trivia Show. The show kicks off at 8pm. Paddy Murphy's is located on New Broad St overlooking beautiful Lake Baldwin! I am so excited about bringing trivia to Baldwin and am even more excited to have you...my friends...come and join me for the kickoff show tonight! Hope you can make it!

Bennigans loss becomes Boardwalk Bowl's gain!! That's right! Starting Thursday July 3rd at 9pm, you will be able to catch the BIG Trivia Show at Coasters Sports Pub right inside Boardwalk Bowl at 10747 E. Coloniel Dr. I am really hoping to see alot of my Bennigan's Biggies at this show. I really want to thank Boardwalk Bowl for the opportunity to bring Earth Trivia aboard. Lets make them happy they did it!

Now for the third exciting bit of news.....BIG HAPPY HOUR TRIVIA COMES TO COPPER ROCKET IN MAITLAND!!

Now, the start date has not been determined just yet. I am thinking it will be the first week in July, but all else has been confirmed!!

Come celebrate Happy hour with me everyday (except Wednesday) at The Copper Rocket Pub in Maitland!! The show will be from 5:30-7:30 and there will be drink specials a plenty!!

Hello BIGGIES!!!!

Sorry I'm late on the blog. Its been a busy (but awesome) weekend!! Thanks to Turning Pointe Dance studio www.turningpointedance.com for allowing me to host a round of trivia for charity! The charity raised money to "A Hope For Haiti Children's Orphanage" and was a smashing success. For those of you with children, please consider Turning Pointe's Summer Fitness Fun Camp! You'll be glad you did.


Please click on their website and check them out. There are not better people in this world than Turning Pointe. How do I know? My daughter is a dance student there and it has already made a world of difference in her life and will continue to! Thanks Turning Pointe! Much Love!!

As foir this week's exciting shows, here are the highlights.

Congrats to "Gram Ram and Kris" for another dominant performance on Wednesday at Smokey Bones!!

Not only we're you guys awesome, but you brought a new Biggie to the show and therefore earned an extra point on the quiz!

Great Job!!

A terrific night of trivia at Bennigan's saw "I Peed in ur Pool" run away with the competition! 81 points in a three round game is an impressive feat indeed!! They also brought a new Biggie but much like Gram Ram, they really did not need any extra points as they were dominant without it.

Now, I would like to welcome FIVE NEW MEMBERS to our little newsletter!! The secret is getting out that this is the way to earn extra points on your quiz. The blog is ok, but the benefits are killer :)

When you win a round or a game by one or two points, you will be happy you signed up!
